Flame barrier of over 160 meters!

Commissioned by Klompenburg, we recently completed an extensive fire safety project in Harderwijk. The assignment involved constructing a flame barrier over 160 meters long, built from specially selected fire-resistant panels.

Purpose of the flame barrier

The flame barrier functions as a fire-resistant separation between different compartments in the building. This type of barrier is crucial in environments where fire spread must be prevented. By using panels with a high fire-resistance rating (EI60 to EI90), the barrier effectively prevents the spread of fire and smoke, fully in compliance with current laws and regulations.

Precise finishing and durability

In addition to functional requirements, attention was paid to the finish. The flame barrier provides a visually clean and durable solution that fits well within the industrial character of the surroundings. The materials used are also low-maintenance, ensuring that the barrier retains its protective function over the long term.
